Mr. Pant brings close to four decades of experience in managing operations across power sector projects
New Delhi, 24th March 2026: Sharika Enterprises Limited has brought on board Mr. Mitesh Pant as part of its operations team. The development comes at a time when the company is working on expanding its activities in power transmission, automation and grid-related solutions.

Mr. Pant has nearly four decades of experience in the power sector. His work has covered power generation, transmission and distribution projects over the years. He has been associated with organisations such as GE, AREVA, ALSTOM and Schneider Electric during different phases of his career. He has joined the company as General Manager and will be heading operations.
Speaking on his appointment, Mr. Mitesh Pant said, “In the power sector, systems have to perform consistently in real conditions. Execution and maintenance both play an important role. As the grid continues to evolve with more automation and digital systems, the focus will also remain on ensuring smooth operations and long-term reliability. I look forward to contributing to the ongoing work at Sharika Enterprises and supporting its efforts in strengthening operational performance.”
A large part of his experience is linked to managing operations around control systems, particularly EMS and SCADA platforms used in grid operations. His work has involved overseeing project execution and post-installation support. In several assignments, he has been involved in ensuring that systems continue to operate reliably after commissioning.
During his tenure at GE T&D India Ltd., he handled Maintenance and Support business across India and the neighbouring regions. The role involved managing operations of around ₹100 crore and working with a team of close to 70 professionals. He was also associated with Unified Load Dispatch Centre projects where he was involved in overseeing delivery of EMS, and SCADA systems across multiple regions.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Pant was part of teams involved in delivering EMS and SCADA systems for the Northern Region control centre of POWERGRID. The system was later dedicated to the nation in 2004. He has also worked on international assignments, including a transmission control system project during his time in France.
His early career included roles in execution and on-ground operations across power plants and industrial units. He has also been involved in infrastructure projects, including metro systems.
Over the years, Mr. Pant has been involved at different stages of projects. His work has ranged from execution and commissioning to maintenance and later upgrades. He has also spent time building support functions and working on long-term service contracts.Sharika Enterprises handles projects related to power transmission, automation and smart grid systems.
