A solo exhibition of well-known painter Mahua Ray ‘s newly created oil paintings and bronze sculptures at Nehru Center Art Gallery , Dr. Annie Besant Road , Worli , Mumbai 400018 will be held from 3rd to 9th December 2024. It can be seen there for free from 11 am to 7 pm every day. Her paintings and sculptures in this exhibition showcase the wonderful emotional works of art created using her creativity and aesthetic sense in a realistic style.
Mahua Ray ‘s artistic journey began with her childhood observations of space and space exploration in the company of her mother. After that, she got the benefit of seeing various works of art and the guidance of those artists. It mainly includes Shahabuddin , Devi Prasad Roy Chaudhary , Jogen Chaudhary , Vinod Dubey , Ashok Bhowmik etc. She got the right inspiration due to the awards and encouragement she received in the early stages of her artistic career from the famous artist Durgaprasad Roy Chaudhary. She has presented her paintings and sculptures in solo and group exhibitions at major art galleries in India and abroad . Her exhibitions in Mumbai , New Delhi , Bangalore , Goa , New York , Canada , London , Paris , Dubai , Ahmedabad etc. received positive response from the fans and thus got the right impetus to present more works in the field of art. She has received awards from many Indian and foreign art promoters and has been honored. Many renowned art collectors have her art collection.
Mahua Ray ‘s oil paintings on canvas and bronze sculptures in this exhibition show the emotions and their many aspects that arise in the human mind in different environments and in different seasons due to natural features. It also shows the latent disorders and emotions of the human mind and their artistic forms. Passionate manifestation of various kinds of mental emotions in the human mind Through her art, Mahua Ray has presented her multifarious passions by combining realistic style , subtle observation , keen perception and awareness of present reality. Also, she has included happiness , longing , curiosity , waiting , ambivalence , mental instability , fickleness etc. in her art form. She has presented here in a very effective manner through her pictures the human concept similar to the many forms of nature that bloom in different seasons and the exhilarating feelings that blossom in the mind and their passion . Each of her artworks is expressive , independent and artistic, eloquent and beautiful. It gives everyone a beautiful view of her mastery over media and advanced thinking. Her artistry in portraying the emotional companionship and intimacy of the female mind with others is admirable.
