Pune, November 25, 2024: HerKey, India’s leading women’s career community, successfully hosted the AccelHERate 2024 conference in Pune on November 19, bringing together HR leaders, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) advocates, and industry executives to champion workplace inclusion and empower women’s careers.
The conference delivered a powerful agenda featuring thought-provoking sessions like “From Policy to Practice: Making Workplaces Truly Inclusive for Women” and “Breaking the Glass Ceiling: Paths to Leadership for Women.” Workshops such as “Building a Culture of Compliance with DEIB” equipped attendees with practical tools to embed diversity into corporate frameworks, while discussions on the future of hybrid work environments provided fresh perspectives on adapting to evolving workplace dynamics.
Highlights included a keynote address by Muru Arjunan, Chief Technology Officer at HerKey. “Muru shared insights from the Benchmarking Report 2023-2024, powered by HerKey, highlighting how companies are leveraging D&I policies and practices to boost women’s workplace participation. He emphasized that hiring alone isn’t enough – hiring right, along with retention and holistic promotion, is the way forward. Women need opportunities, continuous learning, and community support to thrive in their careers. He also showcased the HerKey platform, discussing trending sessions and how both women and companies are benefiting from it.”
AccelHERate Pune embodied this year’s theme, #ForHer, celebrating the resilience and ambition of women across industries. Following the success of this edition, the conference series continues to inspire organizations to take tangible steps toward gender equity.
