Prime Video introduces new cast members and brings back familiar faces in a fresh light for Bandish Bandits Season two

Prime Video is gearing up to captivate audiences with the highly anticipated second season of its much loved musical drama Bandish Bandits. With the trailer set to launch on December 2, this season will feature a mix of established actors and young talent joining the dynamic new cast, alongside the much-loved recurring characters. . The new season of this musical drama skillfully fuses the intricate ragas, and bandishes of Indian classical music with the bold, electrifying beats of modern rock and pop. Delving deeper into the themes of family legacy, individuality, empowerment, and the balance between tradition and innovation, Season two invites viewers on a journey of self-discovery, where each character navigates complexities of their personal and musical evolution. Let’s meet the very talented ensemble cast:

Nandini – Nandini, played by talented Divya Dutta, is sure to delight audiences in Bandish Bandits Season two with her character of a music school teacher. With her intellect and strategic brilliance, Nandini will become a pivotal force behind the decisions of Tamanna and her team, guiding them towards the ultimate musical showdown. But there’s more than meets the eye – Nandini’s character is layered, complex and captivating. Her performance promises to be a masterclass in acting and music, making her an unforgettable part of this musical journey of Bandish Bandits.

Saumya – A star this season, Yashaswini Dayama plays the character of Saumya, a driven and talented member of Tamanna’s music team. Saumya’s journey is driven by ambition and her strong desire to make a mark in the competitive music world. With her impressive acting and vocal skills, Yashaswini as Saumya is sure to win over audiences!

Ayaan – Rohan Gurbaxani, in the role of Ayaan, is poised to capture the hearts of audiences with his stellar  performance. His character  takes viewers on a nostalgic journey, capturing the essence of a carefree college student, and the transition to embracing responsibilities.

Devendra -Saurabh Nayyar steps into the shoes of late Amit Mistry’s to portray the character Devendra. This season, the character is on a journey of self-discovery and sacrifice. The audience will see Devendra in a new light as he steps up and joins hands with his family to protect his gharana’s legacy.

Arghya – Brought to life by the OG Kunaal Roy Kapur, Arghya returns to captivate viewers with his impeccable dialogue delivery and his compelling presence, always ready to take a stand for Radhe and Tamanna. As he showcases his sharp talent management skills, Arghya sets the stage for dramatic twists in the musical journey of Bandish Bandits.

Mohini – The legendary Sheeba Chaddha breathes life into Mohini, set to reclaim her voice after years of suppression by her father-in-law, Pandit Radhemohan Rathod. In Season two, Mohini steps into the limelight as a fierce guardian of the Jodhpur gharana. Her voice, once silenced, now speaks with conviction and she is ready to fight for what’s rightfully hers and family’s.

Rajendra – Rajesh Tailang masterfully portrays Rajendra, the steadfast pillar of his family. While he stood by their dreams in Season one, this season finds Rajendra embarking on an unexpected journey, surprising audiences as he steps up to protect the cherished gharana alongside his family.

Digvijay – Played by Atul Kulkarni, Digvijay  remains relentless in his quest to claim the gharana under his name after Pandit Radhemohan Rathod’s demise. With every calculated move, his cunning strategies are sure to keep audiences intrigued.

Produced by Amritpal Singh Bindra, and directed by Anand Tiwari, the Leo Media Collective Private Limited production will see the return of its versatile cast including Ritwik Bhowmik, Shreya Chaudhry, Sheeba Chaddha, Atul Kulkarni, Rajesh Tailang, and Kunaal Roy Kapur, along with new cast members, Divya Dutta, Rohan Gurbaxani, Yashaswini Dayama, Aaliyah Qureshi, and Saurabh Nayyar in pivotal roles. Bandish Bandits Season two is set to premiere exclusively on Prime Video in India and over 240 countries and territories worldwide.
